The Dual-Qualifying Challenge

For candidates of the UPSSSC Junior Assistant recruitment, the typing test is the ultimate qualifier. Unlike many other state exams, you are required to clear benchmarks in both English and Hindi to advance.

Our simulator provides a seamless transition between Hindi (Mangal or Krutidev) and English, ensuring you can build the muscle memory required for the intensive 5-minute sessions per language.

Approved Fonts

Hindi: Mangal (Inscript/GAIL) or Krutidev 010

English: Standard QWERTY Layout

The 5-Error
Exemption

"Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission follows a specific penalty formula designed to reward accuracy."

01

Free Shield

The first 5 errors you commit are 'ignored'. They are deducted from gross count but result in no further penalty.

02

Deadly Penalty

Starting with error #6, every single mistake results in a 5-word deduction from your word count. 10 extra errors = -50 words.

03

Net Result

Your Net Speed = (Gross Words - Penalty Words) / Time. High errors can bring your WPM to zero instantly.

Mastering
Accuracy

In UPSSSC JA, an accurate typist with 32 WPM speed is more likely to pass than a fast typist (45 WPM) with 20 errors.

Hindi First

Focus 70% of your time on Hindi typing. The Mangal layout is unintuitive for beginners. Master the 'Halant' and 'Chandra' characters.

Standard Keyboards

UP test centers typically use TVS Gold or basic Dell keyboards. Don't train exclusively on silent laptop keys.

Timed Sprints

Since the test is only 5 minutes per language, practice 10-minute sprints to build stamina. The real exam will feel shorter.

Volume Goal

Aim for a total typed volume of 150 words in Hindi and 200 words in English to create a safety margin.
